Brief Information

This course, Diploma of Chinese Herbal Medicine (CHM), is aimed at those who wish to learn the theories and practice skills of CHM and apply them through the treatment of commonly seen conditions. On successfully completing the course, students will be able to safely and competently practice CHM as a professional treatment.
This course is mostly online learning.

Pre-requisites: Students must already learn, or simultaneous, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) foundation and diagnosis.

Course structure

Year 1*:
CHM Herbs and Formulae (40 credits)

Year 2*:
Managing Diseases and Conditions with CHM (40 credits)

*Clinic Practice (40 credits), last in two years, could be in central clinic and/or mentor’s clinic validated by the Academy. It could be in the form of online case study and offline clinic placement.

Dip. Chinese Herbal Medicine

Duration: 2 years (120 hours class learning per year + 100 Clinical hours)
Learning methods: Lectures mainly online, once per year in-site. Clinical practice could be online and offline.
Course Fee: 3,500 GBP per year for two years. In-site clinical practice 150 GBP per day extra.
Award: Dip. of Chinese Herbal Medicine
Accreditation: CAHMA (Chinese Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine Alliance)
