yinyang-5elementsAs a fundamental skill of TCM diagnosis, pulse reading provides essential information on patient’s constitutional basis. However, the current 28 pulse diagnosis departed from the “Purest and Simplest ” theory and practice of classical Chinese medicine. It’s too complex to grasp.

Yin Yang & Five Elements Pulse Essential Diagnosis originated from “The Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine” and “Classic on 81 Medical Problems”. Pulse Essential Diagnosis has four advantages: first, it is easy to learn; Second, it is an objective standard with strong repeatability; Thirdly, it provides a direct foundation for Chinese herbal medicine prescription and acupuncture point selection; Fourth, it can be used as a criterion for evaluating curative effect and for judging the prognosis of the disease.

The main topics will be covered at the workshop:

  • Disadvantages of the current 28 pulse diagnosis
  • Advantages of Yin Yang & Five Elements Pulse Essential Diagnosis
  • Theory and clinical applications of Yin Yang & Five Elements Pulse Essential Diagnosis.
